Following a spate of robberies in Tarrant County, police say they have two persons in jail. Regarding the crimes that occurred last month, Jhamal Antwan Farris, 31, and Henry Pierre Rogers, 35, have been detained and charged with aggravated robbery.

What Happened?

Rogers is additionally accused of being a felon in possession of a weapon. Farris was free on bond from the Everman Police Department after being charged with murder. Along with a fourth unnamed person, Demond Deshun Scott, 32, of Grand Prairie, is still wanted by the police.

Two individuals stole roughly $5,000 from a Walgreens pharmacy safe in Lake Worth on October 15. There, a man brandishing a firearm entered the drugstore and forced the pharmacist to take prohibited items out of the safe storage space by putting the gun to her head.

A taser-wielding individual grabbed the front desk receptionist during that exchange, threw her to the ground, and shocked her with the device. After being hauled to the rear office, the clerk was restrained to the floor and had a gun to the back of her head.

A individual visited a Fort Worth Metro PCS on October 30 in order to “scope out the location then left the store,” according to police. An employee was told to go to the back of the store by a second individual who entered the store with a weapon around an hour later.

Subsequently, an additional individual entered the store and participated in the heist, pilfering multiple items along with roughly $900 in cash. The victim was then prevented from leaving or dialing 911 by the guy who had walled off the location where they were, according to the police. There was a fourth person standing guard outside the shop. When the heist was completed, all four of them fled the scene.

The FBI, Lake Worth Police Department, and Fort Worth Police Department collaborated to apprehend the alleged burglars.

“Lake Worth is not the place for violent crime. Chief of Police for Lake Worth J.T. Manoushagian stated, “We will keep up our tenacious pursuit of individuals who perpetrate violent crimes in our communities alongside our partners. “I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the detectives and agents who worked this case, and I remain thankful for the partnership we have with the FBI and the Fort Worth Police Department.”
