U.S. Vs Russia, Who Is In Charge Of Everything?
Sergei Markov, a television guest said in a video clip shared on social media on Sunday that both the U.S. and Russia were “struggling” to “be in charge” in everything. The statement had prompted the Russia-1 presenter Evgeny Popov to answer that Markov should tell his sentiments to the Americans as reported in The Bellingham Herald.
It can be recalled that Russian state media often criticizes the United States, and propagandists with ties to the Kremlin commonly refer to the continuing conflict in Ukraine as a NATO or American proxy war.

Throughout Kyiv’s war effort, the U.S. has given military, security, and humanitarian help to Ukraine, but Washington has declared it would not send American forces to fight alongside Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines as reported in Newsweek.
Popov also mentioned about Finland’s upcoming membership in NATO, which will be followed by Sweden. Prior to the start of the full-scale conflict in Ukraine, the countries maintained a long-standing neutrality policy, but after Russia’s invasion in February 2022, they decided to request NATO membership, which has increased Moscow’s border with the alliance.
