SOURCE– US Postal Service (USPS) has announced that it will increase its prices next year. The USPS price hike for its shipping services will begin on January 21st, next year.

The USPS price hike was approved by the Postal Service governors last week. USPS governors reminded the public that the US Postal Service (USPS) continues to have upfront pricing.

Despite the USPS price hike, the agency still offers some of the lowest rates in the industry, as both FedEx and UPS tend to be a bit higher.

Three Services Will Increase For Next Year’s USPS Price Hike

The agency (USPS) announced the following increase in three of its services for next year’s USPS price hike: Ground Advantage and two Priority Mail services.

According to Best Life, the new rates for next year’s USPS price hike include a 2-cent increase in the First-Class Mail Forever stamp price, going from 66 to 68 cents. Domestic postcards will also increase up to 53 cents. The USPS price hike also affects the price of international postcards and letters, which will rise to $1.55.
