Syed Mazadahir Ali shared his terrifying experience of being held at gunpoint by many attackers. Ali tried to evade his attackers, who seized his phone and wallet before escaping, according to surveillance evidence.

At least three perpetrators jumped out of the sedan and huddled behind a parked car, waiting for a victim. Ali saw the suspects while walking home and tried to escape away, but he was captured and assaulted, sustaining facial, rib, and back injuries.
Local armed robbers have committed at least two attacks, including Ali’s. Three males robbed a young man and lady out of their car at gunpoint an hour after Ali was beaten. After assaulting the victims, the robbers seized their valuables. Block inhabitants are increasingly concerned about these episodes, showing a growing sense of communal insecurity.

Overseas Student Traumatized by Violent Attack in US
Ali, an overseas student seeking a master’s degree in the US, expressed shock and trauma, saying he came to America to pursue his ambitions but is now disillusioned by the lack of security. His cousin, Abdul Wahab Mohammed, also worried about the country’s safety and considered quitting school to return home.
The inquiry continues because authorities have not apprehended any individuals despite the gravity of the issue. These brazen and violent crimes highlight the need for improved neighborhood security to protect residents, especially those like Ali and his roommates who came to the US with hopes of a better future but now face crime and insecurity.
