White House Spokesman Says That US Has No Intention Of Putting Military On Ground Following Attacks On Israel

On Monday, White House Spokesman John Kirby announced that the US has no plan on sending ground troops to Israel, but the first tranche of security assistance is on its way.

“There Is No Intention To Put US Troops On The Ground,” Says White House Spokesman Kirby

US News –  Amid the Israel-Hamas conflict, White House Spokesman John Kirby said during a virtual briefing on Monday that the US has no plans on sending US troops to Israel. However, White House Spokesman Kirby said that the US will defend and protect its national security interests.

White House Spokesman Kirby added that the US’ first tranche of security assistance is on its way to Israel.

According to AA, during the virtual briefing, White House Spokesman John Kirby stated that more support will be announced in the coming days to ensure that no enemies of Israel believe they can take advantage of the current circumstances.

“There Is A Degree Of Complicity,” Says White House Spokesman Kirby When Asked About The Involvement Of Iran In The Attacks By Hamas

White House Spokesman Kirby answered that there is a degree of complicity when he was asked about the possible involvement of Iran in the attacks by Hamas in Iraq. White House Kirby stated that there might be involvement since Tehran has been supporting Hamas for years.

However, White House Spokesman Kirby added that the US had not seen any hard evidence of Iran’s involvement in the attacks by Hamas over the weekend.
