The Alaska Department of Revenue is set to disburse direct payments to residents who have yet to receive their Permanent Fund Dividend checks by March 13th as reported by the Washington Examiner. Eligible individuals including those who missed out on payments from 2023 or earlier, will benefit from the program’s 42-year tradition of distributing funds based on the state’s resource revenue. Last year, each resident received $1,312, and this round of payments is expected to inject nearly $1 billion into Alaska’s economy. The Department extends gratitude to the staff processing applications for their hard work.

If you live in Alaska you can apply to get money from the Permanent Fund Dividend until March 31st. To qualify you need to plan to stay in Alaska for a long time and not have a criminal record. You can apply online or by filling out a paper form. All the details about who can apply and how to do it are on the state’s website.
