Two women were killed and one man was injured in an early-morning shooting at a convenience store in Las Vegas, according to authorities on Monday. According to the police, the suspect left the scene of the crime on a bicycle.
What Happened?
The suspect is described by Lieutenant Jason Johansson of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as a Black male who is likely wearing a surgical mask and is clothed in dark or black attire. He asked anyone who had information about the shooting to contact the police.
The incident happened at a convenience store in Las Vegas’ East Valley neighborhood. Johansson claims that at about 3:25 a.m. local time, the incident was reported to the police. The man was captured on camera approaching the business on his bicycle, firing through an open door, and then leaving.
Victims Found
Two victims were found inside the store, while one victim was found outside the company’s parking lot. When a woman in her 20s was found outside, she was immediately declared dead. One of the two individuals found within the facility was a deceased woman who was transported to a neighboring hospital before passing away. Johansson reported that the second man’s condition was stable.
