According to the publish article of Washington Examiner, Americans in Boulder who don’t have much money can ask for help with the city’s food tax rebate. This program has been around since 1967. It’s meant to make it easier for folks with less money to pay the sales tax on food in the city. You can apply until June 30. If you qualify you could get $104 if you’re on your own or $318 if you have a family.

Check if You Are Qualified in $318 Stimulus Update
To qualify, you need to be disabled, 62 or older, or have kids under 18 throughout 2023. You also have to prove you lived in Boulder all last year. They’ll check your finances too. The most money you can make and still get help depends on how many people are in your family. Last year, about 1,093 out of 1,241 applications were approved. Most of the help went to older adults, then families, and lastly people with disabilities. The city gave out $162,000 to people who needed it last year.
