Eligibility Criteria for Direct Payments

California’s Inland SoCal United Way has allocated $10 million to distribute payments to qualified individuals. Among the recipients are 500 expectant mothers residing in Riverside County in their first six months of pregnancy, with incomes below $90,616. They will receive $600 per month for up to 18 months.

Additionally, 120 former foster youth from Riverside or San Bernardino counties earning below $88,847 will receive $750 monthly.

For those eligible, payments are slated to begin in early 2024. Residents meeting the criteria can self-refer or seek referral through an agency. Potential recipients must ensure they meet the specified qualifications to avoid delays in receiving the much-needed financial assistance.
