Georgia Defendant Takes Plea Agreement With Prosecutors For The 2020 Election Interference Case Against Donald Trump

Out of the 19 defendants charged in the Election Interference case against Donald Trump, Scott Hall is the first one to reach a plea deal with the Fulton County Prosecutors.

Scott Hall pleaded guilty to five misdemeanor counts for the Election Interference case during an impromptu hearing before Court Judge McAfee.

According to Court House , Hall needs to pay a fine of $5,000, do 200 hours of community service, and serve 5 years of probation. Scott Hall is also banned from any Polling or election administration related activities.

Scott Hall is also forbidden to talk about the election interference case to the media and to the other nineteen defendants. Hall could also be called to testify against his co-defendants regarding the election interference case.

Trump Will Not Move The Election Interference Case To Federal Court

According to a court filing made by Trump’s lawyers, The Former President will not move the election interference case from Fulton County to the federal court.

Yahoo News – In the filing, the Lawyers informed Court Judge Scott McAfee that they are not moving the election interference case of Former President Trump to Federal Court. The Lawyers of the former president said that they are confident that the Court Judge will protect Trump’s constitutional rights to a fair trial.
