Ex-Fiancée Indicted for Allegedly Aiding Blackface Killer

The U.S. Department of Justice for the Northern District of Texas announced on Friday that Holly Ann Elkins aged 32, the ex-fiancée of the blackface killer had been federally indicted in June, Law and Crime reported.

The ex-fiancée of the blackface killer is facing charges of conspiracy to stalk, stalking using a dangerous weapon resulting in serious bodily injury and death, and brandishing a firearm in relation to a crime of violence.

Following her indictment, authorities arrested the ex-fiancée of the blackface killer on Friday in Miami, Florida. Subsequently, she made an initial court appearance.

Prosecutors allege that the ex-fiancée of the blackface killer played a significant role in assisting her former fiancé, Andrew Beard, in his obsessive mission to terrorize and ultimately kill his ex-girlfriend, Alyssa Ann Burkett.

At the time of the crime, blackface killer Beard and Burkett were entangled in a bitter custody battle over their young daughter. Allegedly, the ex-fiancée of the blackface killer went to great lengths to aid Beard in winning the custody battle, even if it meant sacrificing the victim’s life.

The Plan of Blackface Killer and his Ex-Fiancée

According to prosecutors, the ex-fiancée of the blackface killer and Beard purchased a GPS tracking device in the summer of 2020, which was later found on Burkett’s vehicle.

It is claimed that the ex-fiancée of the blackface killer, using a false name, called the police on July 25, 2020, and falsely reported witnessing the victim’s car being driven recklessly.

On September 2, 2020, Elkins purportedly planted illegal drugs and a firearm with an erased serial number in the trunk of Burkett’s vehicle. The intention behind this act was to orchestrate Burkett’s arrest. When questioned by the police, Burkett denied any involvement in drug dealing, instead asserting her belief that Beard had planted the incriminating items.

Elkins, according to prosecutors, directly prepared for the murder and assisted in establishing Beard’s alibi. On September 13, 2020, she and Beard purchased a vehicle to be used in the attack. The following day, Elkins allegedly bought makeup to aid in disguising the killer. On September 19, 2020, the couple together purchased .410 shotgun shells and a knife.

It was on October 2, 2020, that Beard, wearing blackface, shot Burkett in the head while she was seated in her car at her workplace parking lot. After the initial gunshot, Beard proceeded to stab her 13 times. Burkett tragically succumbed to her injuries at the scene, while Beard fled.

During the time of the murder, Elkins purportedly remained at Beard’s residence with Burkett’s child. She later informed investigators that Beard was present at the residence when the crime took place. However, authorities discovered the abandoned suspect vehicle near Beard’s home, leading them to find evidence indicating that Beard had disguised his appearance.

Items such as two bottles of liquid foundation makeup, partially burned wipes with brown residue, a burned metal cylinder resembling a makeup brush container, and a dark prosthetic beard with traces of makeup on the inside were crucial in establishing this fact.

Authorities confirmed that the DNA found on the fake beard matched Beard’s, while dried blood recovered from the vehicle matched Burkett’s DNA.

With blackface killer Beard currently serving a 43-year federal sentence for cyberstalking using a dangerous weapon resulting in death and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence, prosecutors are now focused on holding Elkins accountable for her alleged role in this gruesome crime.

If convicted, Elkins could face up to two consecutive life sentences in federal prison.
