This is good news for many people in Minnesota. These checks are like getting money back from taxes. To get this money, you need to have lived in Minnesota in 2021 and paid taxes in 2022. You also need to have filed certain types of taxes, like income taxes. If you have kids you can get even more money. For each child you have, you can get $260 up to three kids. So, if you have three kids you can get $780 more making the total $1,300.
