According to Dallas police, a hit-and-run victim passed away on Tuesday from her injuries, prompting an investigation.
On October 9, just before 7 a.m., officers responded to a report in the 3600 block of Frank Street. This was a little over two weeks ago.
Who Is The Suspect?
Officers found that 44-year-old Stephanie Whitlock had been run over by a suspect operating a dark-colored SUV, which may have been an older model BMW.
Whitlock was brought to a nearby hospital for additional care, but on October 24, she finally passed away from her wounds.
According to the police, the suspect is a Black male in his early 30s who stands about 5-feet-4-inches tall and may go by the moniker “Gigi”. According to police, the initial charge of aggravated assault will now be categorised as murder.
