Montana Permanent Property Tax Relief

A section of House Bill 587 will intend to give $120 million for Montana Permanent Property Tax Relief. The law was said to have the “largest permanent property tax relief bill of the session”.

Under the new law, Montana Homeowners can claim rebates starting August 15 until October 1. The rebates will be sent to eligible Montana Homeowners through paper check of direct deposit payments according to a report.

Montana Permanent Property Tax Relief To Help Homeowners

The Governor said that a total of $470 million tax relief was successful during the last session. The Montana Permanent Property Tax Relief and the other was for tax rebated which could last up to 2 years will definitely help the residents in their month costs.

In an interview, the Governor mentioned that working with Rep. Jones to reduce the burden of property taxes over the long term was the cornerstone of change going forward.”

The initiative was set to help Montana Homeowners in a long term basis by providing the permanent tax relief. With it, homeowners can now allocate tax funds for other important expenses needed in their households.
