After threatening a Democratic Congresswoman and a United States District Judge supervising one of Donald Trump’s cases, a Texas lady is now being charged with federal offenses. The voicemail began, “Hey, you stupid slave,” and then used a racial epithet.
What Happened?
Abigail Jo Shry, of Alvin, allegedly threatened judge Tanya Chutkan in a voicemail she left for her on August 5, threatening to kill Sheila Jackson Lee, a member of the US Congress, and anybody else “who went after former President Trump.”
The speaker on the message declares, “You are in our sights; we want to kill you.” “We want Sheila Jackson Lee dead.” Chutkan is the federal judge in charge of the Washington, D.C., criminal investigation into allegations that former President Donald Trump engaged in a plot to rig the 2020 election.

The voice on the voicemail adds, “Tread lightly, b***, if Trump doesn’t win in 2024, we are coming to kill you.” Additionally, the caller threatened to kill all LGBTQ people and all Democrats in Washington, D.C.
When questioned by federal officials on August 8, Shry admitted that she had placed the call to Chutkan’s chambers and that the calls had come from her phone. “You’ll be singled out in the public eye.
According to the court papers, Shry informed the Special Agents that she had no intention of visiting Houston or Washington, D.C. to carry out any of her alleged intentions.
According to the agent’s testimony, Shry also said that there would be cause for concern if Jackson Lee paid a visit to Alvin. On August 11, Shry was accused of sending a threat to harm another individual.
