Former That 70s Show Actors Kunis and Kutcher Join in Support Amid Masterson’s Sentencing for Sexual Assault

Former That 70s show actors, Mila Kunis and Ashton have come forward in support of the convicted rapist before his recent sentencing. According to NBC News, Masterson faced a 30-year to life prison sentence for sexually assaulting two women at his Hollywood Hills residence two decades ago. Other former That 70s show actors, including Debra Jo Rupp, Kurtwood Smith, as well as his brother-in-law, William Baldwin, and fellow Scientologists Giovanni and Marissa Ribisi, also lent their support.

Before the sentencing, the victims delivered powerful impact statements describing Masterson as a predator. However, one of Masterson’s lawyers maintained his innocence, expressing confidence that the convictions would be overturned through appeals. In letters submitted to the court before the sentencing, both former That 70s show actors offered a contrasting image of Masterson, emphasizing his role as a caring friend, father, and advocate against substance abuse.

While Kunis didn’t directly address the accusations, Kutcher acknowledged the guilty verdict but hoped their testimony about Masterson’s character would be considered in his sentencing. Masterson’s wife, Bijou Phillips, consistently stood by him, describing him as a supportive and essential partner throughout the legal proceedings.
