Nicholas Doxtader Charged with Driving While Impaired Leads to Death of Raymond Hubbard
On Saturday night, a sad event happened in Coram, Long Island. A 25-year-old man named Raymond Hubbard fell out of his wheelchair while trying to cross Middle County Road according to the news report of NBC New York. Shortly after falling he got hit by a car and died at the spot. The driver of the car, Nicholas Doxtader who was driving a Chevrolet Suburban seemed like he had been drinking according to the police. So, the police arrested him for driving while impaired. He was supposed to go to court on Sunday in Central Islip. It was around 10:15 p.m. when Hubbard had the accident. He was trying to cross the road but fell down. A car hit him which caused his death. When the police came they found the driver of the car named Doxtader. They thought he was drunk so they took him into custody.
