According to American Military News, the US Air Force is fixing up an old airfield on Tinian Island in the Pacific. This airfield was important during World War II for launching big bombers. Now, it’s covered in jungle but they’re clearing it out. The US Air Force wants to use this airfield again to be ready for any problems with China. This money will be used to make the airfield better and build other important things like places for planes to park, fuel tanks, and support buildings.
