7 Cities, to Issue More Stimulus Checks for 2023

Some states had announced the possibility of stopping Stimulus Checks for 2023 after several payout during the pandemic. However, 7 states intend to issue more Stimulus Checks for 2023.

Qualification to Claim Stimulus Checks for 2023

Each State have different qualifications and requirements on how to file and claim these Stimulus Checks for 2023. In some states, the Stimulus Checks for 2023 will be based on the taxpayer’s income, filing status, and the presence of any dependents.

Here’s some qualifications to claim Stimulus Checks for 2023 in some States: 

California 

California stimulus payments, formerly known as “Middle Class Tax Refunds,” were formerly available to residents who filed their 2020 California state taxes by October 15, 2021 can be eligible for up to $200 to $1,050, depending on the income of the taxpayer.

Maine

Residents of Maine who submitted a tax return for 2021 no later than October 31, 2022 and resided in the state full-time will receive payment on their Stimulus Checks for 2023. Eligible taxpayers may receive $450 to $900 dollars for single and joint filers.
