Bipartisan Support for Comprehensive Housing Solutions
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Senator Alex Padilla want to bring back a bill called the Housing for All Act. This bill is about using a lot of money from the government to help with housing and homelessness according to the article in Los Angeles Times. It would do things like helping old and disabled people find homes and turning motels into places where people can live permanently. Representatives Ted Lieu and Salud Carbajal also have a similar bill in the House.

Padilla Champions Housing Equality and Solutions
Padilla thinks everyone should have a home and is determined to help with housing problems. The bill would give a lot of money to programs like rental assistance and grants for homeless services. Bass supports the bill and believes it’s important to keep pushing for it until it becomes law. Even though it didn’t pass before, they’re still working hard to make it happen this time.
