Shooting Incident at Port Arthur Apartment Complex
The authorities were alerted to the shooting incident when they received a call reporting a victim with a gunshot wound at the Pointe Apartments, located at 1501 Poole Ave.
Upon arriving at the shooting incident scene, a 12News crew witnessed a male victim emerging from an upstairs apartment unit and being promptly transported to an awaiting ambulance, 12News reported.
Nearby, a black vehicle riddled with multiple bullet holes was also observed, indicating the intensity of the incident.
According to a relative, the victim of the shooting incident was fortunately only grazed by a bullet.
Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso has since confirmed that no one sustained any gunshot wounds during the shooting incident, providing a measure of relief in this distressing situation.
Shooting Incident Investigation
As part of the ongoing investigation, law enforcement officers collected several casings from the scene.
Their efforts aim to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the shooting incident and identify those responsible for this reckless act of violence.
