“Unluckily, 42-year-old Milton resident Patrick Kenney Jr. was named as the person who died after being stabbed outside of Kai Restaurant in Saugus on Saturday.” On Sunday, Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker and Saugus Police Chief Michael Ricciardelli both confirmed that Kenney Jr. was who he said he was.
The murder happened around 9 p.m. on December 2, when Kenney Jr. was found in the parking lot of Kowloon at 948 Broadway, Saugus, with a knife wound. Even though he got medical help right away, he was declared dead soon after at Mass General Hospital. The authorities are eagerly looking into what happened in this sad case.
According ti the Mass Live report, the police are looking into the death of Patrick Kenney Jr., who was cut to death outside of Kowloon Restaurant in Saugus. Based on what we know so far, the killing may have been a mistake and no one else was involved. The Essex County District Attorney’s Office State Police Detective Unit and officers from the Saugus Police Department are both looking into what happened.
This happened after a fight on Thanksgiving Eve at the same Chinese restaurant two weeks ago. Around 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 22, a fight broke out between several people and someone holding a glass bottle. Four people will be charged in Lynn District Court for their roles in the fight, according to Saugus police. There will be a full report sent to the Saugus Board of Selectmen.
It is still not clear what kind of link there is between the four people, and it is also not clear if more charges will be made in connection with the event. The latest stabbing and the fight before it are both still being looked into.
