According to Newsweek 90, Ukraine attacked a Russian city called Belgorod, causing a lot of damage. Russia got really mad and blamed the United States for it. Social media pictures showed smoke in Belgorod, making things tense between Russia and the U.S.

Ukraine said they attacked because Russia had hit their cities first. They claimed they only aimed at military places, not regular people. The United Nations Security Council got involved.
